Kate Mill

MET, RPBio - Environmental Scientist

Kate Mill is an environmental scientist and Registered Professional Biologist with over six years of experience in environmental consulting. She specializes in aquatic toxicology and environmental effects monitoring, with extensive experience in the mining sector. She supports clients to develop strong environmental programs through design and implementation of long-term environmental monitoring programs, specialized toxicity studies, and aquatic health assessments. Kate applies a collaborative and data-driven approach to problem-solving, motivated by translating data into actionable results.

Kate holds a Master of Environmental Toxicology from Simon Fraser University and is a Registered Professional Biologist with the College of Applied Biologists in British Columbia. Her academic research focused on the effects of anti-sea lice chemotherapeutants on non-target crustaceans, to inform regulatory decision-making.

During her time off, you will find Kate outdoors doing any activity that involves uphill travel.
