Jenna Keen is an environmental scientist with over 3 years of professional experience in environmental consulting. She works primarily in the areas of environmental effects monitoring, ecological risk assessment, and permitting, often in the mining sector. Skilled in project coordination, reporting, and data analysis, Jenna embraces complex challenges in a detailed manner that is rooted in the goals of the project.
As a result of her involvement spanning laboratory and field-based projects, Jenna has proven experience in interpreting chemistry and toxicity testing data, and understanding the fate and behavior of contaminants in the environment. Her field experience in multi-disciplinary monitoring programs includes assessments of fish and fish habitat, benthic invertebrates, periphyton, water quality, and sediment quality.
Jenna received a Master’s in Environmental Toxicology (MET) from Simon Fraser University. Her research investigated the lethal and sublethal environmental impacts from anti-sea lice pesticides on both cultured and wild zooplankton.
